Bell Commercial VR
Even if Bell brings physical aircraft to events, showing the various interiors and configurations poses logistical issues. Let’s allow users to not only select the aircraft they would like to take a virtual flight in, but also allow them to pick which industry the interior is configured to facilitate. Sector 5 Digital (S5D) need a solution to offer to a variety of buyers from different areas, but still engage with their specific interest in a meaningful way.
Sector 5 Digital need a way to showcase the capabilities of the unmanned V247, but in a way that is more meaningful than a typical presentation or still images. The user needs to be able to clearly understand the offerings of this aircraft, while spending less that 10 minutes learning about them. Lastly, allow this drone to be seen by potential clients in areas where a full mockup can’t fit or isn’t allowed due to security constraints.
Bell V280 VR
Sector 5 Digital need to enable the client to market a product and focus on aircraft capabilities in an immersive way before the product has been built. Furthermore, the 1:1 scale model that is currently taken to trade shows is costly to move and can’t be taken everywhere, especially secure government buildings. The end user needs to see the potential of using the V280 in the fleet of tomorrow and experience that tangible improvement this aircraft will make to operations in the military.
IBM Cloud Server Challenge VR Series
IBM Cloud wanted to up the ante for their conference events by showcasing their IBM Cloud Bluemix servers and solutions via a gamification experience.
Air Taxi 2018
Create a memorable experience to launch the Air Taxi product and to ensure Bell got noticed for their first time exhibiting at CES.
Sector 5 Digital (S5D) combined VR with the physical model offering unprecedented immersion: passengers actually touched everything they saw (felt the texture of the wood, run hands across the leather, etc.). The VR was also put on mobile Gear VR headsets to increase throughput. Videos showing three scenarios of Air Taxi rides were created and avatars of the three actors were placed in the VR to feel as if they were passengers with you. Additional video also created to tease Bell’s presence ahead of the show along with additional website assets.
Citation Longitude VR
Introduce the public to Textron Aviation’s first entry into the super-mid sized category, the Cessna Citation Longitude.
Demo flights and full-scale build-outs are expensive. Cessna needed a way to cost-effectively demo the aircraft and its many customization options, to a wide audience. The goal being to create waves and get a share of this already competitive category.
Vision 2050: The Way To What’s Next
To highlight Aerospace Industries Association’s centennial year and the future of aerospace in the year 2050 through a medium that resonates with SXSW attendees and beyond.
Create a memorable campaign that launches at CES 2019 even bigger than 2018, but can continue on through 2019 other trade shows. Position Bell as the industry leader who has the experience and knowledge to get the air taxi created.
