Trigger partnered with Victoria’s Secret to develop a branded augmented reality experience to promote Victoria’s Secret new fragrance launch, Tease Dreamer. The AR Effect was apart of an exclusive Facebook beta program, which allows brands to incorporate an AR Effect into sponsored posts that are exclusively accessed on the news feed of the targeted audience.
Users who are served the ad in news feed can launch an exclusive branded camera view, which prompts them to spray the Tease Dreamer perfume bottle. After an initial spray animation, the user is transported to a beachy scene designed to reflect the scent of the fragrance.
Those lucky enough to access this experience can take photos and videos to share directly with their friends and followers as either a traditional post or story. Finally, via an onscreen link, the user can tap to directly link to the product page where they can purchase the fragrance.
