Context
Ensuring the animal’s well being safety and good development are the major challenges faced by breeders every day With their accumulated knowledge at the service of the breeders, Royal Canin’s sales teams can become true advisors In order to do that, they just need to learn to adopt an advisory posture. Therefore, Royal Canin decided to create a training module to turn sales team into consultants to dogs and puppies well being in the breeding circuits.
Learning topics covered by the experience:
- Identify preventive reflex for puppies and dogs health
- Advise breeders on animal nutrition
- Circulate good practices in terms of food storage
- Recognize right breeding practices and identify risk situations
Solution
In the role of a salesman, the trainee meets Monica, a canine breeder After scheduling an appointment, the day of the visit arrives. The learner is going through three decision making situations during the
whole Immersive learning experience taking the appropriate equipment applying the principle of
walking forward, and adopting the right behavior. The learner has to advise Monica and her colleagues
on animals’ feeding, the storage of the Royal Canin’s products in addition to the merchandising of the different product ranges within the main office.

- More than 150 people trained in France and United Kingdom
- From 3.4/5 to 4.2/5 regarding the confidence level to conduct a visit after immersive training
- Adaptation of the experience to hosting, refuges and feline breeding
