Continuing their track record of industry-leading innovation, Qatar Airways wanted to bring the latest 3D technology together with key elements of their passenger experience to delight their customers and bring back the excitement around travelling.
With that in mind, the challenges included communicating the seamless experience on the ground and in the air – by showcasing Hamad International Airport (HIA) pre-flight infrastructure elements in combination with the onboard experience.
The experience is accessible not only in VR but across a wider range of common user devices and platforms.

Neutral Digital created a multi-platform immersive experience that:
- Showcases the story of Qatar Airways’ award-winning customer experience and hospitality.
- Leverages the latest technology to delight and inform customers, prior to booking and travel.
- Provides a platform on which to build future customer engagement and brand innovations.
The project features the world’s first MetaHuman cabin crew, ‘Sama’, who guides customers through the Qatar Airways passenger experience. ‘Sama’ is a high fidelity digital human brought to life using Epic Games’ industry-leading Unreal Engine, the world’s most advanced real-time 3D creation tool used by leading game makers, Hollywood production and special effects studios, as well as the MetaHuman Creator, a cloud-based app for creating high fidelity digital humans.
