Visionaries 777 worked together with PTC on this AR and IoT use case for MagneMotion, A Rockwell Automation Company. After a number of cycles (2 years or 16 KM of travel) the pucks, the traveling carts holding the goods, get worn down.

To minimize down time and prevent safety issues, a scheduled maintenance procedure is required.

The solution consists of a Predictive Maintenance tool with the purpose of enabling a service technician to quickly assess the system status (IoT data display) and then implement a service procedure (AR Work Instructions) to reduced unscheduled down time.
