Heijimans: Working At Heights

About the Project

Heijmans – a major European Dutch based construction company got in touch with Sentient about their off the shelf Working at Heights module, after reviewing it was determined it did not quite meet their requirements.

It was decided the existing module would be used as a base and modifications made to more suit Heijmans business in the construction industry.

As this was the companies first VR module in their journey to introducing VR training to the company it was important that their employees had an enjoyable experience.

CHALLENGE

Working with an overseas based client
Create an EWP (Elevated Work Platform) setup scenario including driving the EWP.

SOLUTION

Regular contact to ensure client kept up to date and avoid miscommunication.
Use an EWP model we had in our asset library and modify for use.

OUTCOME

Sentient delivered the module which has been rolled out by Heijmans with positive results and feedback
Heiman’s has requested a second module on Order and Cleanliness which has also since been delivered.
