You’ve heard it a thousand times before: the pandemic forced us into a new normal. In many cases, that wasn’t really an upgrade. In the case of EO it most definitely was. EO is a high-class networking organisation that connects top entrepreneurs worldwide. They have a thing for cross-border innovation and look for social cohesion in digital times. We were glad to help them do just that. And may we say, in a superheroic way.
Social VR had a major boost during the pandemic, just like fintech after the crisis in 2008. Every cloud does have its silver lining—or, according to EO, it should. That is why they gifted all their members a VR headset and put us to work with a mood board that would make Tony Stark jealous. Let’s say expectations were high, but a challenge never scared us off.
From architect to event manager and customer support team.
For all of EO’s events, Yondr have organized onboarding sessions via Teams, they were on call during talks and showed all participants the ins and outs of virtual reality until they were comfortable enough to stroll around by themselves. You can say their role extended organically from architect to event manager and customer support team.
Until today, EO still uses the virtual venue as if it was their headquarters. Boundaries between companies and countries have vanished and the cross-pollination and connection between members are at a new high.
A virtual building that breathes innovation, aesthetics and luxury.
Yondr built an inspirational virtual venue where EO could host meetups, organize social gatherings and academy nights without degrading the surroundings to a lousy 3D box. Because the devil is in the details, we went to hell and back to get all the textures right, every material or fabric on point, and erect a virtual building that breathes innovation, aesthetics and luxury.
