Client Profile
Access Machinery is the Canadian Distributor and Service Provider for Metal Fabricating Equipment Official Dealer for Durmazlar Makina (Durma Ltd.)
Brief
The Access Machinery Virtual Reality solution was developed to provide an overview of their machinery and how it can be used by their prospective clients. VR Vision filmed a series of stereoscopic 360 videos of their machines with the Insta 360 Pro 2 and then built a fully custom VR application, for a truly immersive experience.

This application allows the user to navigate around the machine while gaining insights and information through videos, information graphics, voice-overs and the ability to browse the machine software, all in an immersive environment.

The VR application now allows Durma and Access Machinery sales reps to demo their machines with a much smaller footprint and at considerable cost savings compared to shipping the actual machines around the globe to trade shows and conferences. It also empowers salespeople to deliver a much more meaningful presentation during off-site sales demos.

Technology & Services
VR Vision used the newest standalone virtual reality hardware, the Oculus Quest. This latest VR hardware is self-contained and much more cost-effective as well as ultra-portable which makes it easier for their sales representatives to travel with various trade shows around the world.

VR Vision developed the simulation with their 360 videography team and their Unity 3D development team in the span of 3-months with collaborative iterations back and forth with the client.

The project will continue to be ongoing as they continue to want to feature further machines in VR.

Result
- Reduced the number of machines in the showroom, freeing up over 5M in the capital.
- Increased offsite demo to close/won ratio by 50%, generating 1M in new revenue within the first quarter of deployment.
