Sponsored by Bank of America, Koncept VR got a chance to explore exciting locales handpicked by “happiness experts” Gretchen Rubin and Shawn Achor.

In January 2019, a group of six organisations came together to answer the Government’s call to develop the next generation of immersive experiences. It is part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund’s audience of the future programme, delivered through UK Research and Innovation.
The project is creating a new platform that utilises historical and live gameplay data to transform how remote audiences experience esports.

Mona Lisa: Beyond the Glass

To commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci in France, the Louvre is preparing a unique retrospective of da Vinci’s artistic career, opening to the public on October 24th 2019. As part of this landmark exhibition, the Louvre will present its first virtual reality (VR) experience, in partnership with HTC VIVE Arts and Emissive, which will bring to life the story of the Mona Lisa, da Vinci’s most famous masterpiece.

They accomplish this by pairing exotic virtual environments with extra sensory components including wind, heat and aromatherapy, all while receiving a full-body massage. Each Esqape environment is specifically designed to stimulate multiple senses with the goal of helping the mind and body to relax. Immersive Relaxation is a novel method of immersing users into a virtual environment, while ushering them into a heightened state of relaxation. Using this system taps into the key senses that people use to evaluate their surroundings (sight, sound, smell, touch) which in turn helps them to relax and feel comfortable.
