For a large shipping company like DHL, loading packages efficiently to optimise cargo space is crucial. To avoid wasting space and money, DHL needed to train many thousands of its global workforce in how to load every shipment to maximise space.
In addition, DHL wanted to provide interactive, gamified training that their workforce would find stimulating in order to improve retention rates and overall employee engagement. Creating a new VR training programme was the natural solution.

- Last November 2019, Adidas launched augmented reality (AR) footwear try-on in its iOS app to let customers virtually try on its most iconic models and the app to let customers virtually try on its most iconic models and the recently launched Alphaedge 4D running shoes.
- To launch the feature Adidas has partnered with Vyking, an AR try-on technology company specialized in AR solutions for e-commerce and digital retail.
- The AR try-on experience for the Alphaedge 4D Star Wars model even features a live Death Star circling the shoes.
- Download the Adidas app and go to any of the product pages of the Alphaedge shoes, point your smartphone towards your feet and you’ll see the virtual models appear.
- Vyking’s software tracks your foot movements, making the virtual try-on experience run in real-time with or without your shoes on.

Towering over London at 95 stories tall, The Shard has redefined the London skyline since its opening in 2012. The View from The Shard is the open-air viewing platform on the 72nd floor from which visitors can experience panoramic views of London. Eager to integrate virtual reality into the attraction, The View from The Shard turned to Happy Finish to help them create a thrilling addition to the observation deck.
With an impressive skyline and an 800ft drop at our disposal, Happy Finish came up with the concept of ‘The Slide’: a unique VR experience that takes users on a rollercoaster ride around the iconic London landmark whilst still taking in London’s breathtaking views.
