About the Project
Momentum Engineering requested Sentient create a 3D visualisation of a Deluge System piping upgrade on an offshore platform.
It was determined that using Sentient’s Plan-It 3D software would be the most efficient method allowing for quick review and modifications.
Coco VR is Pixar’s stunning debut into virtual reality: an adventure into the beautiful Disney-Pixar film, Coco, that have been released to movie theaters last November 22, 2017.
Coco VR is a film tie-in developed by Magnopus with cooperation from Disney-Pixar and Oculus. It is the first virtual reality experience created using a Pixar property. It explores an expanded version of the world put forth in the film by supplementing that narrative. Magnopus started by creating a proof of concept project that would demonstrate three things:
- Pixar quality environments in VR
- Pixar animation in VR
- Multi-user networking
Viewers of movie’s VR can choose either a single or multi-player experience, and follow the magical alebrije into the luminous world of Coco filled with lovable characters and beautiful settings from the film.
Apartment Configurator VR App
Cad Design Maroc has developed an Apartment configurator VR App to be used with virtual reality technology for a real estate developement company.
The interactive experience gives the opportunity to prospective buyers to visit their future apartments and to explore the different finishes proposed by the real estate developer even before construction has started.
The App was developped using high-end video game technology in order to provide a photorealistic virtual reality experience.

Working with Subject Matter Experts and Higher Education experts, SAGE identified a challenge in psychiatric nursing education : students needed a new way of practicing their soft skills and building their self-confidence before transitioning from the classroom to the hospital.
Worldpay: Real Payments in Virtual Reality
To explore the future of virtual reality in a retail setting, Worldpay were looking to create a proof-of-concept piece that would allow users to purchase items securely in a virtual environment.
From research conducted, Worldpay found that Brits are very interested in VR for the future of shopping experiences, with 58% of respondents expressing interest in the broader use of VR technology in retail, for example trying on an item of clothing in a virtual store.
While research suggested the UK is falling behind in adoption of virtual reality in the mainstream than other global markets, Worldpay were looking to explore the medium and establish themselves as leaders in innovation and forward-thinkers in considering the next generation of payments.
La Basílica del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús
This inhouse project was based in the digital reconstruction of the interior of this temple, located in Gijón, Asturias (Spain), giving the possibility to the digital visitor for an higher and detailed vision of the paintings, architecture, arcs and spaces of the basilic.
Sabal Development: VR Experiences
SPINE was recently contracted by Sabal Development to produce VR Experiences for eight contemporary residences. This cutting-edge, immersive solution allowed for our developer client to engage with the architect, interior designer, & landscape architect throughout the design process. It also gave them the freedom to make the necessary adjustments prior to construction (saving on added construction costs down the road), and to get their marketing materials completed much faster.
